Operativa Arte Contemporanea is pleased to present CsO, a group show curated by Daniela Cotimbo with works by Tiziano Martini, Marco Pezzotta, Vincenzo Simone and Cristiano Tassinari.

Originated by the observation of the dynamics that move around the production of young contemporary artists, the exhibition focuses on a specific aspect: the translation of forms arising from the pictorial language in works of different nature, index of an evolutionary path that, starting from the specificity of the medium, opens to experimentation and interpenetration of artistic practices.

While Cristiano Tassinari, using industrial materials, pre-assembled to compose impressive totemic structures, prefers the spray to get iridescent and discontinuous the surface; Vincenzo Simone evokes the tactility of some ancient paintings through the production of sculptural fabrics that incorporate the pictorial surface, petrifying it. Tiziano Martini, instead, uses the two-dimensional media as field of action, which can hold several external interference, thus generating special texture and color effects.

Finally Marco Pezzotta, whose work always starts from the breakdown of pre-established linguistic universes, with particular attention to the language of the younger generation, uses painting and drawing as mechanisms to reconstruct a narrative that gives a new nature to those items.

The exhibition is presented as an articulated and multiform path, characterized by changes in state and hybrid forms. All works, however, share a particular interest related to the practice of painting and its possible evolution.
